This mala bracelet is strung with sandalwood beads and accented with turquoise stones arranged at regular intervals. The sandalwood beads are smoothly rounded and retain a natural fragrance that diminishes gradually through daily wear and handling. The turquoise stones introduce a contrasting color and a cooler, denser weight against the skin. The bracelet is hand-strung on elastic cord, designed to slip easily onto the wrist without any clasp or fastener.
The bracelet is sized for standard wrist wear. Bead count and diameter vary depending on the individual piece; traditional mala bracelets follow a count of 108 or a shorter adapted sequence. No metal fastenings are used. Suitable for daily wear. Origin: India or Nepal.
