Rose quartz is found in Brazil, Madagascar, and parts of South Asia, where its pale pink hue has made it prized across multiple traditions for centuries. In Hindu and Ayurvedic practice the stone is associated with the heart, though this mala follows the Buddhist 108-bead format used for contemplative counting across Nepal, Tibet, and Southeast Asia. Artisans select each bead for translucency and consistent tone, rejecting stones with heavy veining or opacity.
This mala is strung with 108 natural rose quartz beads on knotted cord, each bead approximately 8mm in diameter, with a guru bead and tassel at the head. Total necklace length is approximately 90cm. The stone is smooth-tumbled, cool to the touch, with a surface that is neither glassy nor matte, characteristic of natural quartz. Color ranges from very pale blush to soft pink across the strand. Total weight is approximately 60 to 65g. Available with multiple charm options at the guru bead position.
