Description

Three shades of stone catch the light in shifting bands of amber, rust, and slate, each surface carrying the liquid shimmer of silk trapped beneath quartz.

Mala bracelets originate in the devotional practices of ancient India, where strings of 108 beads served as tactile counters for mantra recitation in Hindu and Buddhist traditions. Tiger’s eye is a chatoyant variety of quartz, formed when fibrous blue crocidolite is progressively replaced by silica while retaining its parallel structure, producing the optical effect known as chatoyancy, a band of light that shifts across the surface as the viewing angle changes. The stone has been worn across cultures from ancient Egypt to East Africa as a talisman associated with focus and steadiness of mind.

This bracelet combines three color variants of tiger’s eye: the iron-oxide-rich red, the classic golden yellow, and the blue variety, which retains more of the original crocidolite coloration. The beads are individually shaped, polished, and strung on elastic cord, allowing the bracelet to stretch over the wrist without a clasp. Each bead displays the characteristic chatoyant band in a slightly different position and intensity.

Specific dimensions and weight are not provided. The elastic cord construction accommodates a range of standard adult wrist sizes. Beads are natural tiger’s eye stone. Country of origin is not specified.

Because tiger’s eye is a natural material, color distribution and the width of the chatoyant band vary between individual beads. No two bracelets are identical.
