This bracelet is handcrafted in China from solid Zi Tan, each bead turned from uncut wood without synthetic dye or lacquer. The mala counts 108 beads, strung on durable cord with a knot between each, following a format used in Buddhist practice for centuries.

Each bead is turned to 8mm in diameter and finished to a smooth surface that softens further with wear. The bracelet weighs under 20 grams, sitting light on the wrist. Natural grain is visible across each bead, the wood’s characteristic deep red marked by fine lines unique to each piece. No stain or polish has been applied.
