Mala bracelets originate in the contemplative traditions of Buddhism and Hinduism, where strings of 108 beads are used as counting tools during mantra repetition and focused practice. Shorter wrist mala versions became widespread as everyday objects worn both for active use and as a continuous physical reminder of settled intention. Black Tourmaline, a boron silicate mineral, has been employed in protective and grounding contexts across multiple cultures for centuries, prized for its density and its longstanding association with deflecting environmental negativity.

This bracelet is strung with natural Black Tourmaline beads, each individually polished to a smooth matte finish that retains the stone’s natural character. The beads are assembled on durable elastic cord, sized to fit the wrist comfortably. Minor variation in color tone and surface texture between individual beads is inherent to the natural material and is not a defect.

The beads are natural Black Tourmaline. Bead diameter and bracelet circumference are available on request. Avoid prolonged exposure to water, soap, and perfume, which can affect both the cord and the stone surface over time. The stone can be aired in indirect sunlight to maintain its condition.
