White moonstone mala bracelet, hand-strung from natural adularescent moonstone, carries a surface that shifts with light: pale white at rest, catching a faint blue at certain angles. The stone is smooth and cool, lighter in hand than its appearance suggests.

Moonstone has been prized across South and Southeast Asian traditions for centuries, sourced primarily from Sri Lanka and the Tamil Nadu region of southern India. Sri Lankan moonstone, valued for its blue adularescence, has been traded through Indian Ocean routes since antiquity, appearing in royal collections and meditative practice alike. The mala format comes from the Hindu and Buddhist traditions of the subcontinent, where 108-bead strands were used for counting mantra repetitions. The bracelet distills that form into a wearable scale suited to daily use.

Each bead measures 6mm, 8mm, or 10mm in diameter. The surface is polished to a smooth, rounded cabochon form that concentrates the stone’s characteristic adularescence: a floating inner light that shifts as the bead rotates against the wrist. Moonstone sits at 6 to 6.5 on the Mohs scale, giving it a warm, almost silken texture distinct from harder stones. The cord is hand-knotted between each bead.
