Description
A thin thread of smoke rises and disperses slowly, carrying a warm, resinous fragrance that settles into a room long after the stick has burned down.
Sandalwood has been burned as an aromatic and devotional material for more than four thousand years, with documented use in religious practice across India, China, Japan, and Southeast Asia. In Buddhist, Hindu, Taoist, and Shinto traditions it is used at temples and home altars as an offering and as a support for focused contemplation. Vietnamese sandalwood carries a softer, less astringent character than Indian varieties, with a warm woody base and a faintly spiced undertone.
These incense sticks are handcrafted in Vietnam by local artisans using natural sandalwood material harvested from the region’s highland forests. No synthetic binders, chemical accelerants, or artificial fragrance compounds are used in the production process. Each stick is formed by hand and burns at a slow, even rate throughout its length.
Sold in 60-gram packs containing approximately 150 sticks. Each stick burns for approximately 60 minutes. Fragrance character: warm sandalwood with a subtle spiced edge. Country of origin: Vietnam.
These sticks are suited to extended meditation sessions, prayer, or periods of sustained concentration. They can also be used as a room fragrance in any domestic setting.
