Jade, worked continuously in China for over five thousand years, was reserved for emperors and high priests, its green considered the color of heaven on earth. To carve a dragon in jade is to unite two of Chinese civilization’s most charged symbols.

Handcrafted from 100% natural jade, this pendant is carved in relief: the dragon’s form is raised from the stone’s surface, with scaled body, clawed feet, and curving tail rendered in precise detail. Jade varies naturally in color from pale celadon to deep forest green, with veining and translucency unique to each individual stone. The pendant measures approximately 3 to 4 cm in length and arrives with a cord necklace included. Weight is approximately 8 to 15 grams. The stone has not been dyed or treated.
