This pendant comes from Lhasa. Made by Tibetan artisans, its silver cylinder opens and rotates freely on its axis. Inside, the mantra Om Mani Padme Hum. Each rotation performs the recitation. Tibetan Buddhist tradition holds that this is sufficient.
