This mala necklace is strung from white bodhi seeds — the fruit of the sacred fig tree beneath which Siddhartha Gautama attained enlightenment. In Buddhist practice, bodhi seeds are among the most meaningful materials for prayer beads, carrying the symbolic resonance of awakening and perseverance.
