Mystica Purple Asteroid Artisan Resin Ring

Description

Deep violet light moves through the piece like something alive, shifting and deepening with each change of angle.

The asteroid field draws its visual character from the scale and density of deep space — not the clean geometry of orbital paths but the raw scatter of debris suspended mid-drift, clusters of violet and indigo caught in the moment before impact. The color moves between dark plum and electric violet depending on the light source, and the sense of depth created by the layering gives the surface a quality closer to liquid than solid. It is a visual field that rewards close attention.

The ring is cast by hand in clear resin set over a shaped wood base. Violet pigments, fine metallic particles, and translucent materials are introduced into the resin in layers during the pour, building the scattered internal field and the sense of depth that defines the piece. The particles settle differently with each casting, which means no two rings share the same internal pattern. The wood base contributes structural stability and a natural warmth to the underside of the band.

Material: resin and wood. The outer surface is smooth and sealed. Ring dimensions are not individually specified; the band follows a standard wearable profile. The resin construction keeps overall weight low, making it comfortable for extended daily wear.
