Description
The authentic multicolor moonstone radiance bracelet is strung from natural feldspar beads that shift between cream, pale grey, and cool blue as the light changes angle. The adularescence, that internal glow unique to moonstone, is most visible in natural light, making this bracelet one that changes in character through the day.
Each bead measures approximately 8mm in diameter, individually selected for inclusion quality and surface consistency. Adjacent beads carry different dominant tones: one pale cream, the next cool silver, the next a warmer gold tone, depending on the stone’s internal structure and the angle of incident light. The bracelet is strung on elastic cord and finished without a clasp, slipping over the wrist as a continuous strand. Bead count is approximately 22 to 24. Each bead surface is smooth with a medium-high polish that preserves the stone’s natural opacity.
The bracelet is worn directly on the wrist and requires no clasp operation. The elastic cord accommodates most adult wrist sizes without adjustment. It is suited to daily wear as a standalone piece or stacked with other bracelets. To maintain the surface polish, avoid prolonged contact with chemical products including perfume, cleaning agents, and chlorinated water. Wipe with a soft dry cloth after wear.
Moonstone is a feldspar mineral mined primarily in Sri Lanka, India, and Myanmar. The multicolor variety, which produces adularescence across several tones on a single bead surface, requires selective sourcing at the mining stage. In Ayurvedic and Hindu traditions, moonstone has been set into jewelry and ritual objects for at least two thousand years, associated with lunar cycles and perceptual clarity. Each bead is individually selected for the quality of its adularescence and the consistency of its surface.
A question buyers often ask is whether the color shift is visible indoors as well as outdoors. The adularescence in moonstone is most pronounced in direct or angled natural light, where the internal layering of the feldspar scatters light across the full spectrum of the stone’s color range. In indoor artificial light, the effect is present but more subdued, with the dominant bead tone reading more uniformly. The best way to appreciate the full color shift is to hold the bracelet in natural light and rotate the wrist slowly.
