A handcrafted boxwood statue set depicting the Three Saints of the West: Amitabha Buddha, flanked by the Bodhisattvas Guanyin (Avalokiteśvara) and Mahasthamaprapta.
In Pure Land Buddhism, Amitabha is regarded as the creator of the Western Pure Land of Bliss, a realm of peace and liberation. He is attended by two great Bodhisattvas: Mahasthamaprapta, embodying wisdom and strength, and Avalokiteśvara (Guanyin), the Bodhisattva of Compassion. Together, the Three Saints are among the most revered figures in East Asian Buddhist devotion.
Each statue is made entirely by hand from natural boxwood sourced in China, a dense, fine-grained wood prized by traditional craftspeople for the precision it allows.
