The tradition draws from the region’s relationship with stone: turquoise from the high passes, carnelian from trade routes reaching into India, onyx and agate quarried locally. The braided cord technique, using waxed cotton or linen, produces a structure that holds tension without a clasp.

Each bracelet is strung on hand-braided waxed cord with a sliding knot closure, allowing adjustment across a range of wrist sizes without hardware.
