The Mystica series draws on a long East Asian tradition of capturing the natural world in miniature: from scholar’s rocks to lacquerwork panels framing mountain mist. This pendant is crafted by artisans working in the resin art form that emerged from Southeast Asian studio craft. The base is sandalwood, one of the most prized aromatic woods of Asia, sourced from mature trees and shaped by hand. Each combination of resin pigment and wood grain is unrepeatable. No catalog number will ever describe the same object twice.
The pendant is set in cast resin capturing white and silver pigments mid-swirl, fixed in clarity. No two pieces resolve identically in form, depth, or the distribution of color. The sandalwood base is hand-shaped and lightly finished, carrying a warm woody fragrance that fades gradually to bare grain. Overall diameter approximately 4 cm. The resin surface is smooth and sealed against moisture. Total pendant weight is light, suited to a fine chain or cord at any length.
