The piece holds the quality of deep water in motion — dark, layered, and charged with a pressure that reads across its surface.
The abyssal storm is a visual reference to the deep ocean during extreme weather — not the surface churn but the layered turbulence below, where light fails and movement becomes abstract. Dark blue-grey and near-black tones suggest depth without limit, and the swirling patterns within the material read like the interference patterns of slow, powerful currents. The visual character is dense and interior, the aesthetic of a natural event too vast and too remote to observe directly.
The pendant is handcrafted using pigmented materials with deep, swirling internal patterns cast within resin. The layering process during the pour creates the visual turbulence of the abyssal storm effect — dark pigments and translucent materials are introduced at different stages, producing movement and depth within the finished piece. Because the layering is unrepeatable, each pendant is individually distinct in its internal pattern.
Material: resin with embedded pigments and natural materials. The surface is smooth and sealed. Pendant dimensions are not individually specified. The piece is designed to hang on a chain or cord, sold separately. Resin construction keeps overall weight low.
