Description

The Chinese tea discovery gift box opens on red lacquer and gold thread, six small packages waiting inside, each holding a different tradition of Chinese tea making.

The six styles move outside pu-erh entirely, gathered from several of China’s tea producing regions. Lapsang Souchong is the pine smoked black tea from Wuyishan that first introduced the West to Chinese black tea. Da Hong Pao and Rou Gui are two Wuyi rock oolongs, roasted over charcoal and prized for their mineral, toasted character. Biluochun is a delicate spring green tea rolled into tight spirals by hand. A white peony, picked before the Qingming festival, offers the lightest processing of the six. The citrus pu-erh closes the set: ripe pu-erh leaf packed inside a hollowed mandarin peel and aged together, a format specific to Guangdong and Yunnan tea making.

Each style is pressed or packed to 50 grams, individually wrapped inside the outer gift box, six pieces in total, the same box format used across this product line.
